You have to appreciate bands that have purity of concept. Case in point –  Rock Insider mega favs FIDLAR. The SoCal thrash punks play punk rock, enjoy cheap beer, and want to party. Hell their band name stands for “Fuck It Dog. Life’s A Risk.”

We first introduced you guys to them with “Max Can’t Surf” – a tongue-in-cheek anthem about how their drummer can’t surf. Yesterday the band unveiled their video for “Wait For The Man” which features fast snarky quibs delivered in the form of AWESOME etched animations.

Just TOTALLY in love their whole vibe. Watch the video below!

Steffaloo, aka SoCal native Steph Thompson, has collaborated with the likes of Blackbird Blackbird, Germany Germany, Sun Glitters, and Billy Comfort. We were completely won over by her debut offering “Meet Me In Montauk” – a sundrenched collection of simple love songs that showcased a smoky whistful voice that is just oh so perfect for lazy Saturdays at the beach.

We are so pleased to announce that our lil’ label JAXART Records will present Steffaloo’s first ever release on vinyl – an all new single featuring “On Fire” – a stripped-down haunting ballad with b-side “The Red Runs Free” featuring Pandit – who provided a beautiful wash of surreal guitar for the release.
