LA Scene Update: Silversun Pickups Secret Show, Drama, New tunes from Robert Francis

Sorry to be M.I.A the last few days been a little bits nuts around our parts lately.

Robert Francis‘ unveiled the first track off his upcoming Atlantic Records debut entitled “Nightfall.” Definitely a must listen. You can stream it on Myspace or listen in the ILIKE player below.

Nathan Williams of Wavves fell while skateboarding and broke his wrist. He will undergo surgery next week forcing him to cancel his show at The Smell on the 23rd. As penance the lo-fi noise act is offering a free download on their blog. Check it out here.

Gasp! Sea Wolf is in the studio finishing up his sophomore album to be released on Dangerbird Records sometime in the fall. I wonder if Alex ever got my love letters? Really can’t wait to hear new music!
