RAW MOANS (SAN DIEGO, CA)

Just yesterday I was talking to someone about how much I enjoy simple yet memorable songs. Then again  – who doesn’t!  Raw Moans accomplish just that on “Nectarine” – a brooding electro slow jam that features nothing more than a drum machine, reverb laden vocals, a few casio keyboards, and some ambient noise for texture. The repeating synth line in this track has been stuck in my head all day!

The project recently released a remix cassette on one of my favorite tape labels Trivial Pursuit. The tape features remixes by D/R/U/G/S, Chill Pullman, Blissed Out, Mater Suspiria Vision, but it’s the Jeans Wilder remix of the aforementioned track that takes the cake! Download both below.
